The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur held the 25th IIM Library Consortium on September 25, 2024. The occasion was attended by library chiefs from all 21 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Over 45 database businesses are taking part in this important three-day Consortia Meet, which will end on September 27, 2024.

Professor Somnath Chakraborty, Acting Director of IIM Kashipur, lit the ceremonial lamp to kick off the Consortia Meet, and Professor Madhurima Deb, Chairperson of the Library Committee, presented the welcome message. The celebration brought together members of the IIM Libraries Consortium and other dignitaries from IIM Kashipur, as well as Chief Administrative Officer Col Ajay Kumar Upadhyay, who wished the program success. Guests in attendance included Prof Madhurima Deb, Chair of the Library Committee and Assistant Professor in the Marketing Area, Prof Rameshwar Shivadas Ture, Chairperson of OBHR, Prof Mridul Maheshwari, Assistant Professor in the OBHR area, Prof A V Raman, Professor in OBHR, and Dr Mohammad Asif Khan, Librarian.

Following the inauguration, a group photo session was held with consortium members, IIM Kashipur faculty, and dignitaries. The occasion also included a Knowledge Tree planting ceremony, in which consortium members and dignitaries took part.

The 25th IIM Library Consortium strengthened the IIM libraries' collaborative efforts and highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange and sustainability in academic success, according to the press release.
