Description
KVS Manian has formally taken over as Managing Director and CEO of Federal Bank, beginning September 23, 2024. He replaces Shyam Srinivasan, who retired after effectively running the bank since 2010. Manian joins Federal Bank after a successful career at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he worked for more than 25 years and was instrumental in the bank's development from a non-banking financial enterprise to one of India's premier private sector banks.
He is an electrical engineer from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, with a masters degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and a Cost and Works Accountant certification.

Prior to joining Federal Bank, Manian held top leadership positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he was crucial in driving the growth of the corporate, institutional, and investment banking sectors, as well as wealth management.
