Cochin University of Science and Technology has released a notification for CUSAT CAT BTech Round 3 spot counselling. The spot admissions will take place on September 10, 2024. Students who are eligible to participate in the spot admission round must report to the counselling facility by the specified date.
CUSAT CAT round 3 spot admissions will be held at the Seminar Complex, near the Administrative Office, Cochin University of Science & Technology, South Kalamassery, Kochi - 682 022. Students with CUSAT CAT scores ranging from 01 to 17790 can participate in the spot counselling round. Registration for CUSAT CAT round 3 slot admissions will be available from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
According to the announcement, students will not be provided individual call letters and must register at the specified location before 10:00 am. Candidates who do not arrive by the specified time will not be considered for spot admission.
CUSAT CAT 2024 Spot Round Eligibility
The following are the eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech spot round-
Candidates who have not yet received any allotment.
Candidates that have received an allotment and want to change programs.
Candidates who did not register their options previously. I
Candidates who received an earlier allotment and cancelled it.
Candidates who received an allotment earlier but were rejected by the Department (not due to eligibility).
Candidates that received their allotment early but did not pay the required fee.
Candidates who have taken admissions in the first or second round of spot admission and have not paid the required fee or balance, as well as those who have previously received allotment but were rejected by the department, are ineligible to apply for the spot admission round.
CAT 2024 admit card or online application registration confirmation page
Migration certificate (for students from outside Kerala state)
SSLC or Class 10 mark sheet and pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc)
Class 12 mark sheet and pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc)
Certificate to prove Keralite status for state merit seats
Transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the institution last attended (in English version)
Four passport-size photographs of the candidate
Community and non-creamy layer certificate in the case of ‘SEBC’ candidates
Community certificate issued by the Tahsildar in the case of Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) or Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) candidates
Candidates seeking admission under the Physically Challenged (PHC) category should produce a valid Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by the district medical board of the state to which the candidate belongs
If any of the above certificates are not in English or Malayalam, candidates should produce a translated version in English endorsed by a notary public
Two sets of self-attested copies of all original certificates or documents mentioned above
Proof for special reservation, if any (DAC, NRI, CGW, CHD, EWS, IDC, AND, TG, etc)
Annexure II declaration to be submitted by candidate stating nationality (duly filled) (only for outside Kerala candidates)
