Description
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans for a Vedic-3D museum at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary seat. This cutting-edge museum will showcase Indian astrology, astronomy, and Vedic literature. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made the news during a visit to the university, emphasizing the university's role in showing the evolution of Vedic literature, including the 16 Sanskars, 64 arts, and 18 Vidya Sthans, as well as the contributions of Indian sages.
Museum's Features And Objectives
The museum will display unique manuscripts kept at the historic Saraswati Bhawan, including the "Raas Panchadhyayi," Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, and Durgasaptashati, which are all intricately inscribed and embellished with gold workmanship. It intends to revive the tradition of 'Shastrartha' (spiritual conversation) and provide a platform for furthering understanding of Vedic literature.
University Inspection And Development
During his visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath viewed the university's main building, which is 234 years old. He supported the idea to incorporate the Government Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya in Chaukaghat as a faculty of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University. The Chief Minister highlighted infrastructural upgrades, such as installing Sanskrit signboards, improving sewer and drainage systems, repairing old roads, and building a boundary wall.
Administrative Directions
CM Yogi directed the creation of bicycle and automobile stands at the Ganganath Jha hostel, emphasizing cleanliness and timely repairs. He oversaw the execution of critical jobs, such as replacing worn-out wiring.

The event was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma, UP's Minister of State for Stamp and Court Registration Fees Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State for AYUSH and Food Security Dr. Dayashankar Mishra 'Dayalu', former minister and MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, and other prominent officials and public representatives.
