RIL is the first Indian business to generate more than Rs 10 lakh crore in annual revenue. Chairman Mukesh Ambani highlighted this milestone at RIL's Annual General Meeting (AGM). In 2023-24, Reliance reported a record consolidated turnover of Rs 10,00,122 crore (USD 119.9 billion) and a net profit of Rs 79,020 crore (USD 9.5 billion).

Export And Tax Contributions

RIL's exports totaled Rs 2,99,832 crore (USD 35.9 billion), accounting for 8.2% of India's overall merchandise exports. In FY 2023-24, the corporation provided Rs 1,86,440 crore (USD 22.4 billion) to the national exchequer through taxes and charges. Over the past three years, RIL's total contribution to the exchequer has topped Rs 5.5 lakh crore (USD 68.7 billion), the largest of any Indian firm.

Investment And CSR Spending

Reliance has invested more than Rs 5.28 lakh crore (USD 66.0 billion) in the past three years, demonstrating its commitment to growth. RIL upped their CSR investment by 25% to Rs 1,592 crore (USD 191 million) in the previous year. Over the past three years, the company has spent more than Rs 4,000 crore (USD 502 million) on corporate social responsibility, making it the greatest contributor among Indian corporations.

Employment Growth And Future Plans

Last year, the corporation created more than 1.7 lakh new employment, bringing its overall workforce to nearly 6.5 lakh employees. Additionally, Reliance is considering issuing 1:1 bonus shares, which would quadruple its investors' holdings, with a decision due at the board meeting on September 5, 2024.
