Mission Overview
Mission Rhumi was a joint project between Space Zone India and Martin Group. The mission included the Rhumi-1 rocket, which weighs 80 kilos and stands 3.5 meters tall. During its first flight, Rhumi-1 successfully launched three cube satellites to monitor atmospheric conditions and placed 50 Pico satellites for diverse experiments, demonstrating its capacity to support a wide range of scientific efforts.
Innovative About Rhumi-1's Technology
Rhumi-1 has a hybrid propulsion system that combines a liquid oxidizer and solid fuel, which represents a significant leap in rocket science. This hybrid system offers for increased flexibility and adaptability, as the rocket may be launched from a movable launchpad, making it appropriate for a variety of launch circumstances.
