Description
The National Health Authority (NHA) and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 13, in the presence of Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda, marking a critical step forward in pushing Digital Health education across India.
Benefits Of This Collaboration
This collaboration will not only improve the abilities of medical students and professionals, but will also push the broader adoption of the ABDM, ultimately helping millions of Indians by providing better access to quality treatment.
This MoU will not only help them grow capability, but will also help to shape the country's digital educational landscape.
NHA will take it to the ground level, helping to build the healthcare ecosystem in our country.
Maharashtra introduces Digital Health for all medical students.
Digital Health is at the forefront of healthcare today, and understanding it and its use in patient care is critical in this day. It is a great occasion for MUHS to make Maharashtra the first state in India to implement Digital Health for all medical students.

DHFC, founded by MUHS with the Koita Foundation's backing, equips doctors and healthcare providers with a thorough understanding of digital health fundamentals.

The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 27, 2021, intends to develop a robust digital health ecosystem via active collaboration between the public and private sectors. The goal of ABDM is to improve patient care, accessibility, and cost by integrating multiple healthcare institutions such as hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies, and health insurance providers.
