In June, AVIC, a leading aerospace company, successfully tested its HH-100 cargo drone, which has a payload capacity of 700 kilograms and a flight range of 520 kilometers. AVIC intends to test its larger TP2000 drone next year, which can carry up to 2 tons and fly four times as far as the HH-100.

Commercial Drone Deliveries

The commercial deployment of freight drones has already begun. Phoenix Wings, a subsidiary of SF Express, began delivering fresh fruit from Hainan to Guangdong in May with Fengzhou-90 drones.
