Description
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched the PNB ANTAH DRISHTI Braille Debit Card, a new project designed to improve financial access for visually impaired people. This contactless National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) debit card, which operates on the RuPay network, is intended to help its users achieve financial independence.
Key Features
Braille Embossing- The card has raised Braille dots, including the "PNB" brand name, so users may easily recognize it. The following welcome letter is also available in braille.
Rounded Notch- A rounded notch opposite the chip allows users to correctly orient the card when using ATMs or POS terminals.
Glossy Spot UV Lamination- The card boasts a glossy spot UV lamination effect with raised textures on the bank logo and a rough spot UV on the contactless symbol, making it simpler to identify the card's features.
Contrasting Colors- Cards are designed with contrasting colors to help visually impaired persons read card details more easily.
Transaction Limits
ATM withdrawals- Up to Rs 25,000 each day.
PoS and eCommerce Transactions- A combined daily maximum of Rs 60,000.
Contactless Transactions- Individual transactions of up to Rs 5,000 can be done without a PIN at NFC-enabled POS terminals, with a daily maximum of Rs 5,000.
Eligibility
Individuals who are visually handicapped who have PNB savings or current accounts can receive the PNB ANTAH DRISHTI Braille Debit Card from any PNB branch.
