Shri Chaudhary's career with NHPC began in 1989, when he joined the corporation as a Probationary Executive (Civil) at the Koel Karo Hydroelectric Project in Jharkhand. The Kalpong HE Project: Success Story
One of Shri Chaudhary's most outstanding achievements was his leadership of the Kalpong HE Project. Despite the limitations of its remote location in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the project was finished 16 months ahead of time. This success demonstrates Shri Chaudhary's capacity to overcome complicated logistical obstacles and deliver outcomes under difficult conditions.
Timely Commissioning Of Major Projects
Shri Chaudhary played an important part in the successful and timely commissioning of two major projects-
Teesta-V HE Project (510 MW) in Sikkim, India.
Mangdechhu HE Project (720 MW) in Bhutan.
