Description
The Directorate of Technical Education in Chennai released the tentative seat allotment results for TNEA Counselling 2024 Round 2 on August 13, 2024. Candidates who have enrolled for Round 2 can view the seat allotment results on TNEA's official website.
The official notice reads, “Tentative allotment has been released for second round candidates, request you to login and confirm the allotment on or before 14-08-2024, 5PM, if you fail to confirm your allotment it will be considered cancelled.”
According to the official schedule, the tentative allotment confirmation can be done between August 13 and August 14, 2024. On August 15, 2024, provisional allotments for accept and join candidates will be released, as will tentative allotments for accept and upward candidates.
Candidates can report to their designated colleges from August 15 to August 20, 2024. The preliminary allotment for upward opted candidates will be available before 10:00 am on August 23, 2024.

Steps To Check TNEA Counselling 2024 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result
First visit the official website.
Now click on TNEA Counselling 2024 Round 2 tentative seat allotment result link available on the home page.
A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.
Click on submit and the seat allotment result will be displayed.
Check the seat allotment result and download the page.
Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Candidates will be assigned seats in the order of their preference depending on their rank, community, and seat availability. The candidates must confirm the seat within two days of the allotment. Non-confirmation of the candidate's allotted seat will result in the candidate losing his or her seat and being moved to the next round.
Counseling will be conducted online in three phases, with candidates participating in the rounds based on their ranking. Each round will contain four stages. a) Making a choice b) Being assigned c) Confirming the assignment d) Reporting to College/TFC and paying fees based on their confirmation.
