Description
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), ISRO's commercial arm, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the launch of Nepal's Munal satellite. The MoU was signed on August 10 by Anurag Srivastava, Joint Secretary (North) of the MEA, and Arunachalam A, Director of NSIL, representing their respective organizations.

The Munal satellite, designed and built with the assistance of space startup Antarikchya Pratishan Nepal (APN), is scheduled to launch aboard NSIL's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in the coming months.
