Description

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the provisional answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 on July 30. The tentative answer keys can be found on the official website.

The window for raising objections is now open, and students can submit them until 11:00 pm on July 31. The deadline for payment is July 31, 11:50 pm. Candidates' challenges will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If any candidate's challenge is deemed to be correct, the answer key will be changed and applied to all candidates' responses as needed. The results will be prepared using the amended final answer key.

However, no individual candidate will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their challenge. The key determined by experts after the challenge will be final, according to an official announcement from the NTA.

The NTA further said that in bi-lingual question papers, if there is a contradiction in the translation, the English version will prevail, except in Language Test exams.

NCET 2024 took place across India on July 10th from 2 to 5 pm. Previously, the NTA postponed the NCET 2024 exam for June 12, which was already taking place at several centers. NTA argues that because there were 66 subjects, there were "too many question papers to be uploaded, and in the process we encountered some technical issues." "The technicians quickly realized that question papers for some centres were not being uploaded, so we decided to postpone the exam,"
