Description
The Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has scheduled holidays for grades 1–12 from July 31 to August 2, 2024. The holiday has been declared due to the Kanwar Yatra.
The declaration followed the Ghaziabad district administration's notification of the holiday. The school holiday has been declared due to an increase in the number of persons arriving from Haridwar.
Schools have been directed to comply with the decree. Classes will continue as usual online, and schools will be closed on August 2, 2024.

Schools in Ghaziabad and Haridwar will be closed till August 2, 2024, due to the Kanwar Yatra. Lakhs of devotees from across the state are expected to visit the Dudeshwar Nath shrine in Ghaziabad.
Due to the overwhelming number of devotees participating in the ongoing Kanwar Yatra, Haridwar has declared school holidays. According to the directive, all government and non-government schools, as well as Anganwadi centers from grades 1 through 12, will be closed until August 2, 2024.
