Description
Bhopal Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that our goal is to make all ministries as transparent as possible to the public. The Lokpath Mobile App, developed by the Public Works Department, is being introduced with the goal of continuing advancing forward on the path of public welfare by implementing a more open and accountable working system for the public.
About The App
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the app will allow for speedy improvements in the state's 40 thousand kilometer-long highways.
It is a difficult and bold challenge for the department to make improvements in seven days. It is expected that the department would be able to successfully implement this innovation employing cutting-edge technology.
Although it is natural for roads to be damaged as a result of significant rainfall, waterlogging, and heavy vehicle traffic, the department should make every effort to prevent potholes from forming.
Lokpath Mobile App is a significant step toward the empowering of the Road Information and Management System.
Facilities For This App
The mobile app will allow the general public to report road concerns while also ensuring cops' accountability. The Lokpath Mobile App was developed by Madhya Pradesh State Electronic Development Corporation Limited.
The Lokpath Mobile App can be downloaded and installed by visiting the Public Works Department's official website.
By opening the app on a mobile phone and snapping a photo of a pothole or patch on registered roads and uploading it to the app, the complaint will be sent straight to the responsible official for settlement.
The officer will repair this pot hole / patch within seven days and register the resolution through the app, which the complainant will receive on their mobile.
Implementing This Scheme
All repairable national highways, state highways, main district and other district and rural roads managed by the Public Works Department will be included. This system will be executed in two phases. The first part begins July 2. It will include national highways, state highways, and major district routes. In the second phase, the remaining district and country roads will be added to the first phase's roads.
