Description
The Indian Institutes of Scientific Education and Research (IISERs) have issued the solution key for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2024). Candidates who attended the exam can check out and download the answer key through official website.
According to the schedule, student responses will be uploaded on June 12. After that, a site for filing objections, if any, will be available until June 14. The final solution key will be available on June 21.

In the provisional key, option (a) is the right answer to all questions in all subjects. IAT 2024 was conducted On June 9 as a computer-based test at several locations in India.
Exam Pattern
The exam included 60 questions, 15 each from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Each question was multiple-choice, with just one correct answer. The total time allowed to take the exam was 180 minutes, or three hours.Thus, the overall score for IAT 2024 was 240
Marking Scheme
Candidates will be granted 4 marks for each correct answer and deducted one mark for each wrong response. There will be no credit or deduction for unanswered questions..
“The total marks obtained by a candidate out of 240 will be considered for preparing the Rank List. Not every candidate appearing in IAT 2024 will be awarded a rank. The rank cut-off will be announced at an appropriate time. Further, getting a rank does not guarantee offer/admission to an IISER,” an official statement read.
What Is The Purpose Of IISER IAT 2024
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) scores are used to admit students to the five-year Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS integrated dual degree) programs offered by IISERs in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. The exam scores are also used to determine admission to IISER Bhopal's four-year BS in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences program.
