Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the online counselling process for admission to undergraduate seats at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the NIT+ system on June 10. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online through official website.
According to the counselling schedule, candidate's registration, choices filling and seat acceptance fee will take place from July 10 and June 18. Candidates who have selected for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to register on June 14, following the release of the AAT results.
Important Dates
The JoSAA will display the first mock allocation on Sunday, June 15, based on the choices made up until June 14. Following this, candidates will be able to edit their choices. On June 17, the second mock allotment list will be displayed based on the choices made till June 16. The choice locking will begin once the second allocation list is released. Candidates' registration and choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA 2024 will close on June 18, with the first allotment list issued on June 20.

About JoSAA Counselling
JoSAA is a counseling agency within the Education Ministry that administers and regulates the admission process for 121 centrally financed technical education institutes. For the 2024-25 academic year, JoSAA counselling offers single window platform to apply for seats at 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur seats, 26 IIITs, and 40 additional government-funded technical schools (GFTIs).
Eligibility for JoSAA Counselling
Only JEE Advanced qualified individuals are eligible for admission to IIT seats, but all other JEE Main qualified candidates can apply for seats under the NIT+ scheme. Following the conclusion of JoSAA counselling in 2024, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will hold separate counselling for admission to remaining seats in the NIT+ system.
