Description
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reopened the Final Edit Correction Window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2024 Application. Candidates who have not yet provided photographs, signatures, or thumb impressions as per the image upload requirements should do so by June 10.
The NBEMS said in their official notice that, “it has been noted that some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as per prescribed Image Upload Instructions. Such candidates are required to rectify the image(s) in their application form during the Final edit window”.
NBEMS has produced a list of candidates who must upload the appropriate photos in the specified sizes.
Registered candidates can update their application forms by going to the official website. According to the notice, candidates are recommended to consult the official circular released listing the requirements in the uploaded document for FMGE June 2024.
FMGE 2024: Exam Date And Pattern
The Board will release the FMGE 2024 admit card on July 1, with the exam scheduled for July 6.
Candidates must download the admit card by visiting the admission portal and logging in with their essential credentials. The results are anticipated to be released on August 6. Furthermore, this year, application registration for the exam began on April 29 and finished on May 20.
According to the information bulletin on the official website, the FMGE June 2024 exam will consist of 300 multiple-choice questions divided into two portions of 150 marks each. The exam will last 5 hours and take place on a single day.
Candidates must be aware that the exam will be administered in English only. To pass the exam, they must also score at least 150 out of 300. The Board even states that there is no provision for re-totaling, re-evaluation, or the allocation of grace marks in FMGE.
