Meanwhile, the Institute has delayed admission exams for a number of courses in anticipation of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The examination for admission to JMI has already begun. The next exam for students is on June 9 for MA (Economics), MA (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Engineering (regular/self-financed), MBA/MBA (IB) self-financed, and MBA (entrepreneurship and family business) (self-financed).
The entrance examinations are administered in four shifts every day: 9:30 am to 11:00 am, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Candidates who score less than 30% in the descriptive portion of the entrance exam, when applicable, shall not be considered for an interview or admission. In addition, there will be a 0.25-point penalty for each incorrect response in objective or multiple-choice questions across all academic programs.
Admission to BTech is granted on merit based on the final ranks of candidates in JEE Main 2024, while admission to BArch is offered on merit based on the final ranks of candidates in NATA 2024, which is conducted by the Council of Architecture 2024. Admission to the BDS programme will be based on performance in NEET 2024.
