Description
Dr. Sara Gracy, Senior Lecturer in Leadership and HRM at Birmingham City University, will deliver a special lecture as part of the EPGP Batch B3 elective course "Bringing Humanities and Innovation Management and Creative Entrepreneurial Leadership" at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur).
This course will be taught jointly by professor Mrunal Chavda, assistant professor Humanities and Liberal Arts at IIM Raipur, and professor Shishank from BCU, representing a significant collaboration between the two universities.
This course is supported by a collaborative research grant from the British Council (India) to both schools. This intends to foster industrial-academic collaboration for a more integrated approach, resulting in excellence in higher education, a workforce that is ready for work, and high-quality research outputs that benefit both industry and academics, according to an official statement.
Dr. Gracy's lectures will focus on the dynamic interaction between leadership and organizational behavior, emphasizing the relevance of diversity, equality, and inclusion in the public sector.
This course aims to fill the gap between traditional management education and the creative, human-centered leadership style required in today's innovation-driven business environment. It is intended to provide participants with the skills needed to handle the complexity of international management while also cultivating an environment that promotes creativity and innovation.
