IIT Bombay and TCS, India's largest IT services provider, are collaborating to develop the country's first quantum diamond computer imager. This technique was recently disclosed, and it appears to have the potential to totally transform how semiconductor chips are inspected.
About Quantum Diamond Microchip Imager
A quantum diamond computer imager operates similarly to MRIs in hospitals. It enables the imaging of magnetic fields, allowing semiconductor chips to be mapped without damage or removal. As semiconductor technology shrinks, this ability becomes increasingly critical as traditional sensing methods struggle to keep up.
