The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has begun the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) application process for the supplementary exams 2024. Students who were absent or marked fail will be able to apply for the GSEB SSC supplementary examination 2024 via the official website.
Absent students and those marked as 'needs improvement' on the Gujarat Class 10 mark sheet 2024 will be able to enhance their scores in one or up to three subjects through supplementary examinations. The deadline to submit the compartment exam application form is May 22 by 5:00 pm.
Schools must apply for the supplementary examination 2024 online using the board's website. Girls and students from the PwD category are free from paying for compartment exams.

The state board has announced that students who failed standard mathematics can alter their subject to basic mathematics when applying for the GSEB SSC compartment examination 2024.
“Students who have passed the Gujarat board class 10 exams held in March 2024 with basic mathematics (18) and are desirous of seeking admission in Class 11 group A and group AB science stream can apply online for standard mathematics (12) subject from the same school,” the board said.
The overall pass rate in the GSEB Class 10 result last year was 64.62 percent. This year's results have improved significantly. While 1,389 schools registered 100% results this year, compared to 272 in 2023 and 292 in 2022, only 264 schools registered less than 30% results. Last year, the number of schools with fewer than 30% results rose to 1084 from 1007 in 2022.
Among the 33 districts, Gandhinagar has the highest pass percentage with 87.22 percent of students passing, while Porbandar has the lowest at 74.57 percent.
