The Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) has introduced three advanced eMasters programmes for working professionals in collaboration with TeamLease EdTech to train candidates in the rapidly growing disciplines of electric vehicles (EVs), data science, and robotics.
IIT Bhilai has jointly established three programmes: eMasters in advanced electrical vehicle systems, eMasters in applied mechatronics and robotics, and eMasters in data science and analytics.
According to the official website, the programme lasts two academic years (four semesters), and students must complete it within three academic years (six semesters).
“These online eMasters programs are mainly targeted toward working professionals and those learners who cannot dedicate full time to undergoing master’s programs and their jobs. Also, eMasters courses include dedicated in-campus modules that offer students physical learning experience in an IIT environment and hands-on laboratory sessions,” said Prof. Dr. Rajiv Prakash", Director of IIT Bhilai.
Eligibility
Candidates must be working professionals with at least two years' experience.
Candidates must have a BTech, BE, MTech, or MSc with at least four semesters, as well as an MCA (4 semester program) and an MS degree.
Candidates must have a minimum CGPA or CPI of 55% in their qualifying degree.
Candidates from the SC, ST, or Persons with Disability (PwD) categories can qualify with a minimum CGPA or CPI of 50%.
GATE scores are not necessary and will not be considered for admission.
Additionally, the selection procedure will take place after the application and counseling phase. Selection will be competitive and based on the amount of qualified candidates vs available program seats.
