The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is accepting applications from candidates interested in studying Company Secretaries for the forthcoming academic year. The institute is currently accepting applications for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) in July. The deadline to register for CSEET is June 15, 2024. 

Students who have completed class 12 or will appear in the class 12 board exam are eligible to register for the CSEET. They would have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. 

Applications are now being accepted for direct admission to the CS Executive Programme. Candidates who pass the CSEET exam are qualified to participate in the CS Executive programme. Final-passed candidates from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, graduates with a minimum of 50%, and postgraduates are eligible to apply straight for the CS Executive exam. Eligible candidates can apply on ICSI's official website by May 31, 2024. 

The CSEET exam for admission to the Company Secretaries course is set for July 6, 2024. 

Exam Format For CSEET

The Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test will evaluate students in four areas: Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude.

Once candidates have registered for the entrance exam, the institute will provide them with a link to CSEET virtual teaching classes. The University Grants Commission (UGC) acknowledges the CS qualification as equivalent to a masters degree.
