NEET PG Exam Pattern Revised; NBEMS Introduced Time Bound Sections In NEET MDS, FMGE, GPAT And Other Exams
fsjd_icon1 EXAM

Description

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has revised the exam patterns for NEET MDS, NEET SS, FMGE, DNB PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST, FET, and NEET PG in 2024. According to the NBE's most recent announcement, the aforementioned exams will now include timed sections during the entrance examination. It suggests that students must respond to multiple-choice questions within a set time limit. Furthermore, once the specified time has passed, students will be unable to review the answers to the questions and amend their responses for a section. When the section-by-section timer runs out, the following segment will automatically begin.

The NEET PG 2024 exam will be held on June 23, would be the first to include timed sections, followed by subsequent entrance exams.

No Review/ Modification In Answered Questions

The question papers in these examinations will be divided into multiple time-bound sections. For example, in NEET-PG 2024, if there are five time-bound sections (A, B, C, D & E) in the question paper, each section will have 40 questions and 42 minutes of time allotted. Candidates will be restricted from proceeding to the next section until they complete the allotted time for the previous section.” Reads the official notification.

Why Did NBE Introduce The Time Bound Section?

NBE stated that the time-bound section will improve the security and fairness of the exam, which is being challenged owing to threats throughout the examination process. Students can contact NBEMS at 011-45593000 or by email at https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main
