Description

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to hold the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) on May 5, 2024. More than 24 lakh students will appear for the undergraduate medical entrance exam at various centers from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam will be held in 557 cities across the country and 14 cities outside of India. The results will be announced on June 14, 2024.

The NTA has issued the following rules to ensure that the exam runs smoothly-

  • Candidates are encouraged to check the NTA admit card. The cards must include a photograph, signature, and roll number barcode. These details are essential for identification and verification throughout the examination.

  • Candidates must also appear at their designated examination centers on time to complete all pre-examination procedures properly. This will help to ensure that the examination runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Because examination centers are equipped with CCTV and jammers, engaging in any type of illegal strategies or unfair examination procedures could put the student in legal problems.

  • After the examination, give over the OMR sheet (original and office copy) to the invigilator. Candidates can take the test booklet with them. It is the candidate's obligation to ensure that the OMR sheet they submits contains both their signature and the invigilator's signature in the predetermined spaces.

  • No student will be allowed to go on bio-breaks during the first hour after the start of the exam and the last half hour of the exam.

  • Aside from biometric attendance and frisking at arrival, candidates will be frisked and biometric attendance will be taken again upon returning from a bio-break/toilets break.
