Description
The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has launched a new curriculum, the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA), created exclusively for working professionals, and applications are available till May 31.
To apply, interested candidates need fill out an application form on the official website and pay an online fee of Rs. 2,500. The executive MBA program is scheduled to begin in July 2024. The two-year program enables working individuals to expand their knowledge, abilities, and network while continuing their careers, according to the news release.
Eligibility
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks, or 6 CGPA.
Candidates from the SC, ST, or PH categories must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA.
Candidates should have at least three years of work experience.
The Admission Process
The admission process includes a written test on June 9, 2024, followed by a personal interview on June 22. As stated on the official website, your professional background, including job experience and academic success in your qualifying degree or certificates, will be considered, according to a press release.
Scholarship For Executive MBA
Candidates who secure the first position will be awarded a 100% tuition fee waiver.
Candidates attaining the second position will be given with a 50% fee waiver.
Candidates in the third position will receive a 25% fee waiver.
Candidates should be aware that the fee waiver for first-semester students will be based on the entrance merit list, however from the second semester onwards, CGPA will be considered for awarding scholarships.
The Executive MBA program at IIT Delhi offers flexible evening sessions (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm) to fit working professionals' schedules, teaching by renowned IIT Delhi faculty, and significant networking opportunities with esteemed alumni, industry experts, and faculty members.
