1. Read the advertisement carefully, Before you apply.

2. Eligible Candidates need to apply online through online registration system of NTPC Only. To apply visit website (careers.ntpc.co.in) with your valid email id. The site is functional from 23 August 2023 till 15 September 2023.

3. Candidates will be required to upload their passport size photograph, signature, pay-in slip(if applicable) and other relevant documents during online application.

4. Candidates belonging to General/OBC/ EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM/ category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The registration fee payment shall be made through offline mode, Fee Payment mode : State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account (No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi, (Code:09996) on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online application. Bank commission charges will be borne by the candidate. NTPC will not be responsible in case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account. Candidates are informed that scanned copies of pay-in slip (applicable for candidates from General/OBC/ EWS category only), along with details of payment are required to be uploaded at application portal while applying for the post.

4. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the registration fee.

5. All successfully registered candidates will be allowed to download the admit card from the site. Please note that Admit card will not be sent by post.

General Instructions:

1. Candidates who fulfill age, qualification as prescribed above and also possess Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Bodoland Territorial Regional i.e. districts Kokrajhar/Baksa/Chirang/Udalguri only are eligible to apply. Those who do not fulfill age, qualification and PRC criteria NEED not apply.

2. All qualifications should be approved from Board of Technical Education (BTE)/State Technical Education Board/ NCVT/ SCVT.

3. All computations of age shall be done with respect to the last date of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.

4. A candidate can apply for one post only. In case, the candidate has applied for more than one post or has applied multiple times his last application will be considered for further selection process.

5. The admit card indicating roll number, name of allocated test center and guidelines for the test will be made available on the website (careers.ntpc.co.in) to the candidates found apparently eligible based on the online data. A candidate has to download his/ her admit card for appearing the test from the website(careers.ntpc.co.in). Admit cards will not sent by post.

6. No TA/ DA will be paid to any candidate for appearing in online test.

7. No manual / paper application will be entertained.

8. Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not found to be in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

9. The e-mail ID entered in the online application form must remain valid for at least next one year. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed, once entered. All future correspondence would be sent via registered e-mail only.

10. Candidates employed with Government Departments / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies are required to submit relieving letter from current organization at the time of joining, if selected for the aforesaid post.

11. It may be noted that the candidates who do not possess Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region) need not apply.

12. The mere fact that a candidate has submitted application against the advertisement and is apparently fulfilling the criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the right to be definitely called for further selection process.

13. NTPC reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge/ modify / alter the recruitment process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason whatsoever.

14. Any proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and / or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Bhubaneswar and courts / tribunals / forums at Bhubaneswar/Cuttack only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause / dispute.

15. In case any ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English version will prevail.
