Students and their parents can apply through the official website. The deadline for application submissions is May 15.
According to laws, private schools must reserve 25% of their seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students, disadvantaged groups, and children with special needs (CWSN). These seats are allocated via an automated lottery system. The computer-generated draw is scheduled on May 20.
Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria
Students from three to five years old are eligible for admission to preschool or nursery classes under the EWS and DG categories.
Similarly, students in the CWD or CWSN categories must be between the ages of three and seven to be eligible for preschool or nursery entrance.
Students from the EWS and DG categories who aspire to enroll in pre-primary or KG classes must be between the ages of four and six.
For those in the CWS and CWSN categories seeking admission to the same classes, the age range is 4 to 8 years.
Students in the EWS and DG categories must be between the ages of 5 and 7 when applying for primary or class 1 admissions.
Students in the CWS and CWSN categories seeking admission to primary or class 1 courses must be between the ages of five and nine.
Students must be permanent residents of Delhi.
To qualify for benefits under the EWS category, the student's family income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per year.
