Description

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has notified the principals of all its associated schools that NCERT's online courses for Classes 11 and 12 are now available on the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) site.

The SWAYAM Portal, developed by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, offers Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to improve students' learning chances. NCERT offers online courses for Classes 11 and 12 in a variety of disciplines through SWAYAM in different cycles.

In the 13th cycle, NCERT is offering 28 online courses for Classes 11 and 12, encompassing 11 disciplines like as Accounting, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English, and Sociology.

These courses will be available from April 22 until September 30, 2024. Enrollment in the courses is currently available and will close on September 1. Online courses are intended to support and expand students' learning experiences in a virtual environment. Teachers and parents are also urged to attend these seminars to learn about successful teaching methods and subject matter content.

CBSE encourages all schools to share this material with instructors, students, and other stakeholders so that the benefits of these online courses can be maximized. For any questions, schools can contact the helpdesk at moocs.helpdesk@ciet.nic.in or phone the interactive helpdesk.
