Description
The Center for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) has joined the Blockchain for Impact (BFI) Biome Virtual Network Program to help speed transformational healthcare solutions.
About The BFI Biome Virtual Network Program
It will promote cutting-edge biomedical science and innovation, as well as accelerate the effect of revolutionary scientific advancements in addressing important healthcare concerns in India.
It has a strong pipeline of biomedical discoveries in several crucial areas, including infectious disease diagnostics, antibiotic resistance, cell therapy, immuno-oncology, regenerative tissues, and digital health technology, to mention a few.
It brings together incubators and research institutes under a single umbrella. It encourages collaboration among stakeholders in the translational pipeline, which is the process of turning research findings into real-world applications.
Through this program, BFI will invest more than $200,000 over three years, leveraging C-CAMP's experience to establish critical programs for healthcare-based entrepreneurs.

It is a Department of Biotechnology-supported project that has served as a catalyst for cutting-edge life science research and innovation since 2009.
Its mandate is to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. It has built and promoted an entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around the Academic/Research environment by participating in Seed Funding Schemes for Startups.
