The 13th edition of the prestigious European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) was held in the lovely city of Tskaltubo, Georgia, from April 11 to 17, 2024. Despite stiff competition, the Indian team emerged triumphant, demonstrating their exceptional mathematical aptitude and winning a coveted haul of medals.

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) - Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) is India's nodal site for Olympiad programs in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Junior Science. With structured training provided by the EGMO Training Camp (EGMOTC) and ongoing assistance from the National Board of Higher Mathematics (Department of Atomic Energy), HBCSE plays an important role in fostering and preparing exceptional students for renowned international competitions.

On the morning of April 18, 2024, a felicitation event was held at the HBCSE's Main Building to commemorate the Indian delegation's achievements.
