The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the re-registration period for all courses provided through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online. Candidates may apply for their desired programmes till March 10, 2024, with a late charge of Rs 200. Candidates can re-register for the IGNOU January 2024 session by going to their official website.
The institute announced the date extension via its social media account. The online application procedure for the IGNOU's January 2024 session began on December 5, 2023. Previously, the deadline to complete the registration process was January 31, which was later extended to February 15 and again to February 29, 2024.

If candidates experience difficulty registering on the portal, they can contact the regional centre to re-set their account or change their email address or mobile number. Candidates must submit accurate contact information in order to communicate effectively.
Steps To Apply For IGNOU Re-registration Form 2024
First visit the official website.
Now click on ‘Re-Registration’ link.
Enter your valid login credentials.
Fill out the form and upload the required documents.
Pay the registration fee.
Download the confirmation page and keep a hardcopy for future reference.
The Refund Policy On Cancellation
The whole programme fees will be returned before admittance is confirmed. However, if a candidate's admission is confirmed, the reimbursement will be processed in accordance with the schedule provided.
Within 15 days of confirmation, the programme fees will be returned after a Rs 500 reduction.
Within 16-90 days of confirmation, the programme fee would be returned after deducting Rs 1000.
There will be no refunds after 90 days of confirmation of admission. Students can consult the official IGNOU website for the most up-to-date information.
