IISc, Bangalore, Has Issued A Notification For Admission To MTech (Online) Degree Program For Academic Year 2024

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, has issued a notification for admission to the MTech (Online) Degree Programme for the academic year 2024, which is specifically designed for currently employed professionals. The program consists of theoretical coursework and practical project assignments completed within participating organisations. The application process will start on March 15 and end on April 1.

The MTech degrees are available in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Business Analytics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. All courses will be delivered online with instruction from experienced faculty members.

The eligibility criteria for the MTech programmes at IISc Bangalore for 2024 are as follows-

Data Science And Business Analytics

• BE, BTech, BS (4 years) or equivalent diploma after 12th grade, or a master's degree in any field are required.

• In all degrees, the minimum score is 60% or equivalent.

Artificial Intelligence

• BE or BTech in CS, ECE, EE, or a related field is required.

• Minimum grade point average: 70% or equivalent in all degrees.

Electronics and Communications Engineering

• Degree requirements: BE or BTech in ECE/EE or a related discipline.

• Minimum score in all degrees: 60% or equivalent.

Selection Procedure

• A written test is administered online as part of the selection process. The AI course test is scheduled for May 4 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, while the ECE test will be held from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The DSBA stream exam is scheduled for May 5 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

• To be eligible for MTech programmes at IISc, applicants must submit their Class 10 and 12, undergraduate, and postgraduate marksheets, as well as a signed sponsorship letter from their employer.

Fee Details For These Programmes

• Artificial intelligence costs Rupees 9.8 lakh.

• Data Science and Business Analytics: Rupees 9 lakh.

• Electronics and Communication Engineering costs Rupees 9.7 lakh.
