Description
India received the prestigious GovTech Prize, established by the UAE government, in February 2024 at the World Government Summit. India won the "AI-Powered Government Services" category for its unique iRASTE initiative, which uses artificial intelligence to improve road safety. The prize acknowledged the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for pioneering the use of predictive analytics and artificial intelligence in urban transportation networks.
The award was presented by Dubai's crown prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
About iRASTE
