The Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium is slated to be renamed the Niranjan Shah Stadium. This modification is a memorial to Niranjan Shah, a former first-class cricketer and prominent cricket administrator, for his enormous contributions to the game and the region. The England cricket team, which is presently on tour in India, will play its third Test against the hosts at the newly christened Niranjan Shah Stadium. England, having prepared heavily in Abu Dhabi to counter India's spin attack, faced a stiff task from Jasprit Bumrah's reverse swing in the second Test, which resulted in a convincing Indian victory.
