The Dallas family traversed Nepal's difficult terrain, with Carter firmly on Ross' back and Jade by their side, to the south slope of Mount Everest. Carter accomplished an incredible achievement at an altitude of 17,598 feet above sea level, breaking the previous record set by a four-year-old from the Czech Republic.
Surmounting Challenges
Despite the difficult conditions and the possibility of altitude sickness, Carter shown incredible fortitude. While Ross and Jade had mild altitude sickness, their small kid stayed uninjured, surprising his parents and even the medical personnel stationed along the way.

Along with the physical hurdles, the Dallas family welcomed the cultural diversity of their voyage, sampling a variety of Asian delicacies. Carter's appetite reflected his adventurous nature, from trying chicken feet in Malaysia to eating Pad Thai in Thailand.
