Jharkhand NMMS 2023 Exam Date Has Been Rescheduled From December 17 To February 11

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 exam date. The Jharkhand NMMS, which was previously scheduled for December 17, 2023, will now held on February 11. Students in class 8 are eligible appear in the NMMS Jharkhand exam 2023-24.

The admit card for the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 will be issued on February 4, 2024. Eligible students can download their admit card from the official website. Students must use the login credentials they created during registration to access the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 admit card.

The Jharkhand NMMS scholarship aims to provide Rupees 12,000 in financial aid each year to selected students in class 9 to12. This scholarship is not available to students at private schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, or Sainik schools.

Jharkhand NMMS 2023 Exam Pattern

The Jharkhand NMMS 2023-24 exam will be divided into two parts: the Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) and the Mental Ability Test (MAT). The SAT consists of 90 multiple-choice questions in Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics, which are covered in class 7 and 8.  Meanwhile, the MAT section includes 90 multiple-choice questions designed to assess both verbal and nonverbal metacognitive abilities such as reasoning and critical thinking. Students can expect questions about analogies, classification, numerical series, pattern recognition, and other related topics.

Jharkhand NMMS 2023 Passing marks
To pass the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam, students must score at least 40% on both the MAT and SAT. Students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC) categories must obtain a minimum score of 32% on the examination.
