Description
The President of India has appointed Justice Sanjiv Khanna as the Executive Chairperson of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), which is a significant development. Justice Khanna, the Supreme Court's senior-most judge, replaced Justice S. K. Kaul, who retired on December 25. This appointment follows the tradition of appointing the second-most senior Supreme Court judge to the critical position of NALSA Executive Chairman.
