Launch Of The National Common Mobility Card (NCMC)
CM Sarma also introduced the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) in Guwahati, in addition to the electric bus fleet. The NCMC is a multipurpose transport card established by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to ease numerous transactions connected to travel, toll charges, and retail sales.

The NCMC, which operates through the RuPay card system, can be obtained in a variety of forms, including prepaid, debit, or credit cards from affiliated institutions. This multi-functional card is a one-stop solution that allows customers to pay for transit services, tolls, and even retail transactions. It is also important to note that it allows for cash withdrawals.
