The Telangana government has declared school holidays for January 1, 2024. New Year's Day has also been added to the list of general holidays. Students are not required to attend school; instead, they can spend the new year with their families or friends. If parents or students have any questions or concerns about the Telangana School Holiday, they can contact the school administration.
However, as an alternative, the government has cancelled the second Saturday off in February. Apart from the New Year's Day holiday, the government has announced three more general holidays in January.
Hyderabad Police Issues Guidelines To Party Organizers For Telangana School Holiday
For the New Year's Eve celebrations, the Hyderabad police have issued instructions to party organizers, clubs, pubs, and others. During celebrations, no drugs should be consumed. The police have warned that if any drug or ganja use is reported, strict measures will be taken.
In addition, the Telangana state government has extended New Year's Eve celebrations until 1:00 am on December 31, 2023. Keeping this in mind, clubs, bars, pubs, hotels, and restaurants can only stay open until 1:00 am. Before hosting a New Tear celebration party, you must first obtain permission. The authorities have also issued guidelines for welcoming the new year peacefully.
