Description
The annual Inter-IIT Tech Meet will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) for the 12th time. The event will be held on December 19 to December 22, 2023. This is the first time the tech meet has been held entirely offline since the Covid-19 pandemic.
IIT Madras expects nearly 1,000 students from the other IITs. They will compete in 13 different competitions, including product management, quantum computing, game development, mathematics, and cybersecurity.
Students will have the opportunity to present their solutions to experts in the field over the course of four days, as well as forge new relationships with peers and industry professionals to drive collaborations that could move the country forward. The papers and projects presented at the Students' Academic Conference and the Engineers Conclave will be available for public viewing. This edition will also feature the first 'no-prep event' since the lockdown, requiring participants to come up with solutions on the spot.
“We are happy to host the Inter-IIT Tech Meet at IIT Madras and I am sure this four-day event will create an opportunity for the students to learn different things for their career goals. This is also an opportunity for the like-minded students from different IITs who can also interact and create networking activity among the brightest minds,” said Professor Satyanaranya Gummadi, Dean (Students), IIT Madras.
