The Annual GPAI Summit will be held in India from December 12-14, 2023. Through research and applied efforts, the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) attempts to bridge the gap between AI theory and practice. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit. Senior government delegations, multi-stakeholder experts, and worldwide AI pioneers will attend the event.
The AI Gamechangers Award Recognizes Innovation
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will organize the AI Gamechangers Award as part of the summit, recognizing and awarding exceptional AI solutions in a variety of disciplines. The AI Gamechangers Award is a distinguished event that recognizes and honors AI entrepreneurs and inventors. The call for submissions, which ran from September 12th to November 15th, 2023, had a massive response from entrepreneurs. After reviewing the creative solutions, a Review Committee comprised of government, civil society, academia, and industry experts chose the top ten businesses. These businesses demonstrated advances in safe and secure AI research across a variety of industries.
The Top Ten Startups And Their Innovations
Areete Business Solutions, DronaMaps, Genrobotic Innovations, NAYAN India Science and Technologies, Neodocs Healthcare, Newzera Tech Labs, Qure ai Technologies, SarvDeepcall (Naam), Tarisa Technologies, and Titodi Infotech (KissanAI) are among the shortlisted startups. Their ideas vary from IoT solutions for dairy farming, AI-enhanced robotic gait rehabilitators, and smartphone-based AI testing to command and control center solutions with AI and drones. These firms address issues in a variety of fields, including healthcare, agriculture, and information transmission.
Displaying Innovative Concepts
The top ten startups will present their solutions on December 14, 2023, at the AI Gamechangers event. This gives students the opportunity to submit their game-changing ideas to a renowned panel of jurors and a worldwide audience comprised of GPAI member countries, the European Union, and prominent AI professionals. The effort is consistent with the Indian government's aim to assisting tech entrepreneurs by providing exposure, recognition, and mentoring.
The Mission Of GPAI
GPAI, which to be launched in June 2020, is a multi-stakeholder effort with the goal of advancing AI-related initiatives. As a founding member of GPAI and the upcoming Support Chair, India plays an important role in promoting the summit and honoring outstanding AI innovations.
