Prestigious Digital Governance Awards
The National Awards for e-Governance Scheme is widely regarded as one of the country's most competitive and prestigious digital governance awards. The scheme seeks to recognize and promote excellence in the implementation of e-Government activities, as well as to foster innovation in successful e-Government solutions.
The Structure Of Awards
The NAeG Awards 2024 would comprise a Trophy, Certificate, and monetary incentives of Rs 10 lakh for Gold Awardees and Rs 5 lakh for Silver Awardees. These incentives are meant for the District/organization to use for project/program execution or bridging resource shortfalls in any area of public welfare. This year, 16 Awards will be presented, with ten Gold Awards and six Silver Awards.
Criteria For Eligibility
The project start date shall be between 01.10.2021 and 30.09.2023, and the project must be fully commissioned and operational by 01.12.2023. The prizes are divided into five categories: government process re-engineering, application of emerging technologies, district-level e-government efforts, academic and research institutions' research on citizen-centric services, and replication of top technological solutions/initiatives.
The Evaluation Procedure
The NAeG 2024 review procedure is divided into three stages. The Screening Committee is involved in the first two stages, while the Jury is in charge of the last stage. This rigorous approach ensures that only the most deserving projects are honored for their contributions to the field of e-Government.
