Description
The West Bengal Government's School Education Department has issued admit cards for the 2023 National Merit Cum Means Scholarship (NMMS) examination. Candidates can download it by going to the official website.

For candidates whose applications were found valid and accepted, the admit card download window will remain open until December 15.
Students/parents can contact the district inspector of schools (SE) by December 15 if they encounter any problems downloading their admit cards.
“If photograph in any downloaded admit card is not found, the concerned valid candidate is requested to paste a passport size photograph of himself/herself (attested by concerned HOI of his/her institution) in the space provided in the admit card and carry one same passport size photograph on the day of examination,” the notice reads.
Candidates in Class 8 who received 55% or higher in their Class 7 final exam are eligible to apply for the centrally supported NMMS scholarship. SC, ST, and impaired candidates have received a 5% grade reduction.
Eligible candidates include those from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, state government residential schools, and private institutions. Only candidates studying at government recognized/aided schools/local bodies and government sponsored schools, including Madrasahs without residential facilities, are eligible to apply for the NMMS scholarship.
The candidate's parental income should be less than Rupees 350,000 per year.
