The AHSEC HS Pre-Final Exams 2024 Will Take Place In December

In December, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will hold the class 12 pre-final exams. The authorities have directed that the connected schools prepare the exam timetable, subject-specific question papers, and answer scripts (blank).

Students should be aware that they must get their admit cards from the appropriate school authorities. School officials will also provide the pre-final mark sheet. 

AHSEC said, “It will be mandatory on the part of the examination conducting institutions to keep the subject-wise marks obtained by the students under their safe custody so that the council can collect the same as and when required."

Assam HS Exams 2024: Practical And Theory Exam Weightage

The board further directed that the question papers should be designed in accordance with the class 12th syllabus. Practical subjects will be weighted 70:30 (70 for theory and 30 for practical). However, depending on the syllabus, the weightage can be 30:70, 60:40, or 50:50. 

Subjects with no practicals will be graded 100 percent. Finance, political science, sociology, Swadesh Adhyayan, accounting, business studies, and economics will also receive 80 points for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment projects, according to the council. 

The Assam HS Practical Exams will be administered by internal examiners and support staff. The council requested that response scripts be kept by the schools for future reference.

Meanwhile, registration for the Assam High School Exam 2024 will end on November 30, 2023. Interested candidates should register on the official website. It is best to apply before the deadline because no extensions will be granted.
