The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, will start the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 modification window on November 20, 2023. Candidates will be able to make changes to their application form (if necessary).
IIT Madras reviews the Joint Admission Test for Masters programs (JAM 2024) applications to confirm the information provided by candidates. If any problems are found in the application, the candidate will be contacted via SMS to their registered email address and mobile number. The candidates must then correct the faults.
An application for JAM 2024 will have its status updated following receipt and reexamination.“Failing to rectify the defects within the stipulated time can lead to the rejection of the application,” the examination authority said.
IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card
JAM 2024 will be held on February 11, 2024, for around 3,000 PG seats to be granted at 21 IITs (for the academic year 2024-25). The IIT JAM 2024 admit card will be distributed on January 8, 2024.
JAM 2024 will cover seven topics: biotechnology, economics, quantitative statistics, chemistry, geology, mathematics, and physics. All candidates will be assigned an All India Rank depending on their tier performance in each paper.
IIT JAM 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria
If there is a tie, the candidate with the fewest negative scores will be allocated a seat.
If the tie persists, the marks gained from multiple-choice questions (MSQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions will be used to break it.
If it continues, the elder candidate will take the seat.
Between April 2, 2024 and July 31, 2024, candidates who complete the requirements can download the JAM 2024 Scorecard, which displays their AIR and mark, from the JAM 2024 website.
