The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has announced its MBA admission policy for 2024-26. The IIM Mumbai would accept Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 scores as part of the admission process. Through CAT, the institute will offer three MBA programs: a Master of Business Administration (MBA), an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and an MBA in Sustainability Management.
The National Institute of Industrial Engineering, NITIE, was recently renamed IIM Mumbai, making it the country's 21st IIM. The Indian Institute of Management (Amendment) Bill 2023 was passed by both houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, on August 8.
IIM Mumbai Admission Criteria 2024
Through three stages, IIM Mumbai will screen and select candidates for MBA admissions in 2024. They will be shortlisted based on their CAT 2023 results, reservation, gender diversity, and other factors. The following are the IIM Mumbai MBA admission shortlisting criteria:
Stage 1: CAT 2023 percentile cut-offs must be met in order to be selected for a Personal Interview (PI).
Stage 2: Candidates are called up for PI based on their CAT results, reservation category, and gender diversity, based on the aforesaid criteria.
They can look at the table below to learn about the MBA admission requirements and the weightage given to the CAT-
