Description
The government of Andhra Pradesh has declared October 24 a public holiday. The previous Government Order proclaimed October 24 to be an optional holiday in AP. The decision was made in honor of Vijaya Dasami (Tidhi Dwayam), which falls on October 24, 2023. Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy issued G.O. Rt. 2047 on October 18, notifying a partial revision to the previous G.O. Rt. 2692.
AP Dasara Holidays 2023
According to the Andhra Pradesh government, Dasara holidays for all educational institutions will begin on October 14, 2023. School and college will be closed until October 24, 2023. The classes will resume on October 25, 2023, after the holidays have ended.
In addition, the second Formative Assessment (FA-2) exams were set to start on October 3, 2023. The School Education Department has stated that on the day of the exam, common question papers will be distributed to Mandal Education Officers (MEOs) and school principals.
Is Tomorrow A Holiday In AP For Colleges?
According to the AP holiday schedule, colleges will be closed on October 21 for Dusshera. If an exam is set for October 21, the students may be required to report to their respective colleges in AP. The AP colleges will be closed on October 23 and 24, according to the holiday schedule.
