Description

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is planning a four-day winter school to give attendees an overview of several research topics in Theoretical Computer Science. The event is scheduled to take place on the IIT Delhi campus from December 11 to December 14, 2023. This educational endeavor will include presentations from a varied set of faculty members on a variety of topics such as Algorithms, Computational Social Choice, Communication Complexity, Security Protocol Verification, and more. Candidates can also expect seminars, engaging activity sessions, and opportunity for informal talks with IIT Delhi staff and graduate students.

Winter school applications are now being accepted. Pre-final and final-year undergraduate and master's students can apply by October 31. Academic achievement and a brief statement of interest will be used to select candidates for the program, with roughly fifty candidates being shortlisted.

In addition, winter school participants will have the opportunity to pursue a summer internship with CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) academic members. The Internship is set for the summer of 2024, and participants will receive a stipend to help with their housing and living expenses while staying at the IIT hostel.
